BZH NEW YORK BOARD MEMBERS

Sophie Raubiet
President

Originally from Paimpol, Sophie arrived in New York in 1994. Retail director at the Bernardaud boutique in the Upper East Side, she educates her clients to the savoir-faire of French porcelain.

Laurent Corbel
Vice President

Laurent grew up in Arradon, in the beautiful Golfe du Morbihan and in 2004, he settled in the Big Apple to open the NY office of FircoSoft, a French software editor. In 2006, he joined a handful of friends to create BZH New York.

Guillaume Weeger
Deputy Secretary

His anchor is in Concarneau but he wears his stripes and <em>pompon</em> all over the world. After Douala, Frankfurt and San Francisco, Guillaume moved to NYC in 2018. Here, everything is possible including learning to play bagpipes and participating in <em>kouign amann</em> competitions.

Katharine Bride
Head of Public Relations, Special Advisor

Kat is an American who fell in love with Brittany during a summer road trip in 2010. Upon entering a pub in Dinan , Kat felt like she was visiting a pub near her family home in the west of Ireland.  When she returned from the vacation Kat found BZH New York online and started attending events.

Armelle Petetin
Memberships Director

In true Breton's tradition, Armelle has been exploring the World, living and working in 4 different countries before settling in the USA in 2016 for work. Meeting BZH New York in 2017, she volunteered in the preparation of the many events BZH NY organizes through the year. A wonderful way to stay connected to Brittany, and close to her roots on the Côte des Légendes in Finistère.

Guillaume Névo
Secretary

Born in Auray, and after a some years in Rennes, Nantes and Paris, Guillaume finally arrived in New York in 2018 to pursue his PhD in Economics, joining BZH New York right away and the board a year later. When he is not working, you will find him either indoor at the cinema or the opera, or outdoor climbing or hiking.

Aurélie Brieuc
Treasurer

Aurelie is from Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) area. After college, Aurelie moved to the US in 2003 working in textile industry. She was a very active member since a long time before taking the position of treasurer in 2017.

Yann Pacreau
Chief Food Officer

Originally from Fontainebleau, Yann spent most of his summers at his parents house in Prefailles, Loire Atlantique. He landed in 2011 in Miami, before Moving to New York in 2019. His passion and his background in Food industries led him to become the head of purchasing for French Feast, a company that imports specialty food from Brittany and the rest of France.

Alan Le Corre
Music Director

Aodrenn Guyodo
Social Media Corrdinator

Originally from Vannes, Aodrenn arrived in New York in 2009, where she works as a speech therapist. She is also our voice and ears on social media at BZH New York.

Bernard Le Bris
Logistic Director

Concarneau's loss was New York's gain when Bernard arrived as a young chef in 1976.  A successful restaurateur, Bernard remained in touch with friends from Brittany and joined BZH New York in its early days.

Stéphane Brenot
Partnership Coordinator

Stéphane landed from Nantes in 2004, and settled in Pennsylvania. This Bourguignon, amateur of great food and wines, has been a key member of the BZH New York family since the Vieilles Charrues in Central Park. A classically trained singer, he regularly performs in Carnegie Hall and other famous venues with his choir. During the day, he is a commercial real estate agent.
