  • BZH New York, cider, Community, Culture, Food, Fun, Kouign Amann, Pastry, Salon Sucré

Following the success of the last Kouign Amann Battle, BZH New York has decided to organize it again!

We will be hosted Salon Sucré in the Lower East Side. Several New York area pastry chefs will present their Kouign Amann to the participants and a jury. While the jury selects the “Grand Prix du Kouign-Amann”, participants will designate the “Prix du Public”.

The contest is also open to amateur bakers in the Home Cook league. The winner of the best home-made Kouign Amann will be designated by the jury. To enter the contest, simply check the box when registering in the form below, and on the day of the contest bring a Kouign Amann for 8 people (either as a single cake or individual pastries). Registration deadline to enter the Home Cook contest is Tuesday October 18th, 6PM.
