On August 2nd, 1944, American pilot Charles H. Kern died after his plane crashed in Pontivy (Morbihan). However, for the past 72 years, locals and historians have been trying to understand the mystery behind the fate of his remains.
An article was recently published in Ouest-France, trying to get in touch with any descendants or family of the late solider, to let them know that in Pontivy, his legacy has not been forgotten…
