A BRETON LEADS in Tour de France 2009
With his 10th place finish, Christophe LeMevel was the leading Frenchman of the 2009 Tour de France. The Breton rider from Lannion (22), continues to confirm that 2009 is his breakout year after very successful rides in Paris-Nice, Dauphine, and Tour de Catalogne. His strong performances in the Alps allowed him to be the highest placed Breton in a Tour de France since Jean-Cyril Robin in 1998.
