Where do you come from in Brittany? I come from Gourin! (56 Morbihan)
When did you arrive in New York? January 3rd, 1963
What brought you in New York? Curiosity! I didn't want to come here at first, but as I knew many people here already I wanted to find out what it was all about.
What do you do in New York? I am retired and now I teach people to play petanques at Bryant Park.

What objects from Brittany can we see at Pierre's place? a watercolor painting - a book about Gourin - a woodcut with the profile of a Breton - "HB-Henriot" tableware - a bombarde - a bag of dozen of crepes - a picture of his two kids,Yannick and Delphine, in Breton traditional dress - a “Meniere” knife he used at the farm in Brittany from 14 to 20 years old and that he is never without - a pair of sabots he wore to come to NY and wore at work so people knew that he came from Brittany
